While we vigorously protect our clients’ interests in litigation, we also recognize that there are times when a client’s needs are best served by resolving matters through faster and less expensive alternatives such as mediation or arbitration. We work with our clients to evaluate all options and pursue that which is most appropriate under the circumstances.

Our attorneys have extensive experience in alternative dispute resolution, both as advocates and as arbitrators and mediators. Many of our attorneys serve on the panel of neutrals established by the United States District Court for the Northern District of Ohio and by the Summit County Court of Common Pleas. HCP attorneys are also members of providers of various alternative dispute resolution services, including among others the American Arbitration Association.
