OVERVIEW

Riley is a dedicated advocate for his clients. He brings a sharp focus on detail, innovative legal strategies, and a compassionate approach to every aspect of his practice.

Joining Hanna, Campbell & Powell in 2025, Riley specializes in insurance coverage and defense. He graduated magna cum laude from Ashland University, where he earned degrees in History, Political Science, Spanish, and Religion. He then obtained his Juris Doctor with magna cum laude honors from the University of Akron School of Law, securing certificates in Litigation and Business. His excellence in law school earned him three CALI awards in Insurance, Family, and Remedies Law, alongside the Roo Award for best advocate in the trial academy.

Before joining HCP, Riley gained valuable experience working at a small law firm specializing in real estate law, serving as a judicial clerk at the Wayne County Court of Common Pleas, and working in the claims department of an insurance agency. His diverse background in litigation and insurance enhances his approach at HCP.

Outside of work, Riley enjoys playing grand strategy board games, hiking, canoeing, and cooking. When he’s not in the office or outdoors, he frequently volunteers in his community and church.  The Supreme Court of Ohio has recognized his pro bono efforts by awarding him the Access to Justice Foundation award for over 850 hours of service.
