Anne Markowski joined HCP as a partner after a distinguished career as a prosecutor for Montgomery County and 17 years as a civil trial attorney in northeast Ohio. Ms. Markowski is an integral part of HCP’s trial team focused upon the defense of private individuals and corporate clients in personal injury, wrongful death and product liability claims. Her team also specializes in construction defect cases, insurance coverage litigation and the defense of political subdivisions.
As a prosecutor, Ms. Markowski focused upon physical and sexual abuse cases involving children. Her experiences have made her a skilled, relentless and passionate trial attorney.
Ms. Markowski is a native of northeast Ohio and attended Archbishop Hoban High School. She has given back as a coach of its mock trial teams over the years.
Outside of her practice, Ms. Markowski volunteers with the Honduran Children’s Rescue Fund, which raises money to support Sociadad de los Ninos to provide education, housing, and a safe environment for impoverished children in Honduras. She travels to Honduras yearly as a volunteer, providing medical and dental care to the people of Honduras. Locally, she is an active volunteer for Cleveland’s Playhouse Square District, and also supports fund raising efforts for the arts in Cleveland.
