Donald J. Richardson
Mr. Richardson joined HCP as a partner in 2015. He is an experienced litigator and trial attorney and has consistently obtained positive results on behalf his clients over the past 17 years.
Mr. Richardson’s practice over the past 17 years has been focused in the areas of medical malpractice, nursing home liability, legal malpractice, general negligence, and product liability. He has handled lawsuits from inception to resolution including over twenty jury trials throughout Ohio and has argued cases in Ohio’s appellate courts.
Mr. Richardson is the Vice-Chairman of the Medical Malpractice Committee of OACTA and a member of the Ohio Person Centered Care Coalition board, whose mission is to influence and support transformational culture change in the long-term care environments where all individuals can experience meaning and purpose.
He has authored articles on several litigation topics and is a frequent presenter to medical, nursing home and insurance clients. He is a member of the Ohio State Bar and the United States District Court of Ohio, Northern and Southern Districts. He is a 1997 Graduate of Case Western Reserve School of Law and a Graduate of Fels Center of Government at The University of Pennsylvania and Oberlin College. Prior to becoming a lawyer, Don worked in state and local government in Ohio, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey.
Mr. Richardson has been recognized as an Ohio Super Lawyer since 2012.
