In 2016, Ms. Nagy joined HCP, where she has become an integral part of the general litigation group.

Her practice areas include personal injury, wrongful death, product liability, trucking accidents, and construction litigation. She also defends employees of political subdivisions, ranging from police officers, governmental employees, and city service workers to administrators, teachers, and athletic coaches.

Before earning her Juris Doctorate from the University of Akron School of Law in 2015, Ms. Nagy earned her bachelor’s degree in English and Teaching English as a Second Language from Kent State University in 2012. During her studies, she completed a wide range of coursework in different areas of international communication, providing her with the tools to bridge the communication gap between different cultures.

While in law school, Ms. Nagy took courses in alternative dispute resolution and completed over 50 hours of mediation training through the University of Akron Graduate School. Thereafter, she began volunteering as a mediator for the Akron Municipal Court, small claims division, where she still volunteers to this day. This allows Ms. Nagy to give back to and aid those in her community by helping them come to a fair and agreeable solution to various problems, such as landlord-tenant disputes, breaches of contracts, and debt collection.

When away from the office, Ms. Nagy enjoys hiking and spending time outdoors with her two golden retrievers. She also enjoys reading and live music.
